Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim officially inaugurated the First Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 15th Parliament today. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the Deputy Prime Ministers, cabinet members, and foreign representatives.
: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim hari ini berkenan berangkat merasmikan Istiadat Pembukaan Mesyuarat Pertama Penggal Keempat Parlimen ke-15.
Keberangkatan tiba Seri Paduka Baginda di Dewan Rakyat kira-kira 10.10 pagi diiringi Yang Dipertua Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri Johari Abdul dan Yang Dipertua Dewan Negara Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah. Sejurus tiba, Perdana Menteri mempersembahkan Titah Diraja kepada Yang di-Pertuan Agong untuk Seri Paduka Baginda menyempurnakan Istiadat Pembukaan Mesyuarat Pertama Penggal Keempat Parlimen ke-15.
Berdasarkan takwim di laman sesawang rasmi Parlimen, selain pembentangan usul Menjunjung Kasih dan Perbahasan Titah Diraja, persidangan Dewan Rakyat yang berlangsung selama 18 hari turut menyaksikan Ahli Parlimen akan mengambil bahagian dalam perbahasan usul itu selama tujuh hari mulai 4 Feb.
