Kanak-kanak berbusana religius dan paderi berarak masuk ke dalam katedral sempena perayaan Hari Hidup Bakti Keuskupan Keningau.“Yesuslah yang menyempurnakan kita, manusia yang tidak sempurna ini, dalam upaya manusia itu untuk mengikuti perintah Tuhan,” kata Fr Bonaventure Unting , semasa memimpin perayaan Misa Kudus sempena Hari Hidup Bakti.
“Perintah Tuhan yang pertama hingga ke- tiga adalah menyentuh tentang hubungan kita dengan Tuhan. Perintah yang keempat hingga kesepuluh adalah tentang hubungan kita dengan sesama. Namun seringkali kita gagal untuk menuruti perintah-perintah ini. Mengapa?” tanya Fr Bona. “Kita perlukan kekuatan daripada Yesus, agar kita dapat menghayati dan menuruti perintah-perintah ini dengan penuh kerelaan dan sukacita,” jelas Fr Bona.
“Oleh itu Yesuslah yang menyempurnakan kita, Dia bukan sahaja memberikan perintahnya tetapi juga memberikan kita punca mengapa pelanggaran terhadap hukum-hukum Tuhan itu boleh berlaku,” jelas Fr Bona.
