The Nation Newspaper Subsidy palliative: Why we give priority attention to vulnerable people, by Wike

on Tuesday, October 24, explained that the vulnerable persons in the society were the worst hit by the fuel subsidy removal, hence the need to prioritise their concerns, as palliative distribution continues.

He said: “The commitment to sustaining the palliative distribution demonstrates the administration’s dedication to providing ongoing support to vulnerable residents in the FCT. The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden caused by the removal of fuel subsidies and ensure that essential food items reach those most in need”

At the Bwari Area Council, distribution center, the Mandate Secretary, Social Development Secretariat Ibrahim Aminu, who monitored the exercise, said that the administration will not take lightly any act of sabotage from anyone involved in the distribution processes. Also, in the Gwagwalada area council, the mandate secretary of the Area Council Service Secretariat, Bitrus Garki appealed to residents of the council to support the present administration of President Bola Tinubu and the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
