KEPUTUSAN Putrajaya menangguhkan Program Subsidi Petrol adalah kerana kebimbangan pengapungan harga minyak akan meningkatkan kos sara hidup mereka yang tidak terlibat dalam program itu. Menteri Kewangan Lim Guan Eng berkata disebabkan hanya B40 layak menerima PSP, kumpulan masyarakat lain boleh berdepan kesukaran menyesuaikan diri dengan pengapungan harga petrol yang dilaksanakan serentak dengan PSP.
