Subaru used the Japan Mobility Show to introduce two new concepts including an electric coupe that could hint at the future of the BRZ
The Subaru BRZ isn’t exactly flying off dealer lots, but that hasn’t stopped the company from unveiling the Sport Mobility concept at the Japan Mobility Show. Designed to foreshadow the “evolution of Subaru Sport,” the electric concept features a striking design that mixes soft curves with squared off accents. Subaru didn’t say much about the car, but it features a distinctive front end with a pronounced intake, vertical air curtains, and slender headlights.
However, it has slender taillights and fin-like accents. There's no word on specifications, but Subaru said the “basic framework is based on the concept of a driver at the center, controlling all four wheels at will.” The company went on to say the concept has a “low seating position” as well as “excellent visibility” for “enjoyable driving with peace of mind.” Subaru Air Mobility Concept Besides the coupe, Subaru showed off a glorified drone with a passenger compartment.
