KOTA TINGGI: juara saingan elit lelaki pada perlumbaan L’Etape Malaysia oleh Tour De France di Desaru Coast di sini, hari ini.
Menurut pelumba kelab basikal Matador Racing dari Singapura itu mengakui, dia tidak menyangka dapat memenangi perlumbaan hari ini kerana terpaksa bersaing dengan 2,383 peserta lain dalam kategori elit lelaki. “Sukan mendayung pula tidak terlalu panas kerana berada diatas air dan memerlukan kekuatan hayunan tangan,” katanya.
Arfan Faisal dari Singapura menamatkan saingan di tangga kedua dengan 3’19:12s, diikuti Chris Dufton dari Australia .
