Americans are going further into debt according to a new study from NerdWallet. The average US household owes more than $165K in debt, an increase of 8% over last year. Our InvestigateTV team shares expert tips to help pay down your debt.

According to Rathner, now is an excellent time to try and make your debt less expensive: especially high-interest credit card debt.Consider using balance transfer offers with a lower interest ratePersonal loans may have lower interest rates than credit cardsCopyright 2023 Gray Media Group, Inc.
