confirms that his appointment was conveyed in a letter dated October 31, 2023, from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Reacting in a statement made available to on Saturday, the student leaders, under the aegis of The G7, described his appointment as a round peg in a round hole. According to the statement signed by the Former Special Assistant on Students Affairs to Former Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Olusegun Clement, it was stated that Tinubu made the right choice in choosing Asefon as the man to interact with Nigerian students on his behalf.
