O.G. Anunoby had an MRI yesterday and the extent of the findings was swelling in his left hip.
A season ago, Anunoby missed a month with a hip pointer after he collided with Precious Achiuwa in practice.On Tuesday the team reassembled following an off day after that forgetful two-loss weekend in Orlando against the Magic.
For the most part the players remain steadfast in their confidence, even if it doesn’t look like that when they are lining up a three-pointer. Head coach Nick Nurse knows the situation all too well having been through something similar a year ago when a slew of COVID positives ripped through the locker room upending what had been a good start. The Raptors don’t have COVID to blame this time around, but a similar series of injuries has had the same unsettling effect.
Other than getting Sacramento on a back-to-back on Wednesday , the level of competition is going to be high.
