PETALING JAYA: Stringent enforcement against those defying the movement control order seems to be working, as the number of offenders dropped significantly within a day, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri YaakobThe Defence Minister said the number of offenders nabbed on Friday dropped to 413 from 524 recorded the previous day."We hope this declining trend will continue," he told a press conference Saturday .
Ismail said the 90 quarantine centres nationwide for Malaysians returning from abroad had the capacity to accommodate 40,000 people. "However, if they are flying to Sabah and Sarawak from transit points a few days later, they must be quarantined at centres either in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor," he said.Sanitisation exercises were carried out at 170 police stations and 38,140 people's housing scheme units.
