Using an account under the name “Pak Arab”, Syed Syaiful Syah, who was stranded at the eatery with his friend, told his TikTok viewers he had gone to Tenang in Segamat earlier to clear trees felled by heavy rain yesterday. “I still don’t know how things are in my village since I can’t get there. I’m now waiting for help at Restoran Natasha, because people say this area is on higher ground,” he said during the live session at about 3am today.
“Be careful and avoid rushing currents. We will stay in touch through this live session,” said the CDF representative.
