Storm warning: MetMalaysia warns of heavy rain, strong winds until 4pm today in several states

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in several states until 4pm Saturday .In a statement issued Saturday, MetMalaysia said thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are also expected to hit states in the north of the peninsula, namely Perlis, Kedah and Perak .

Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are also expected to occur in the East Coast states of Kelantan , Terengganu and Pahang . The same warning was also issued for several areas in Sarawak involving Sarikei , Sibu and Mukah. - Bernama
