Storm attended The Marie Keating Foundation event Thursday morning but had to leave after feeling unwell.
Storm Keating was forced to back out of her husband’s annual golf fundraising event after falling ill last minute – as the Boyzone star reveals she underwent back surgery several weeks ago.
He said: “She’s a superstar and a powerhouse. She went through surgery which was related to the spine surgery she had three years ago. It was connected to that. She had a six week recovery.” But the father-of-five said she’s had a “tough recovery” and wished she’d take some time out of work to fully recuperate. “It has been a tough recovery for her, she’s spinning plates while working on a lot of different projects at the moment. She’s non-stop. She’s got too much going on and I wish she’d back off a little bit. She’s one of those people who never stops.”
The Dubliner was also joined by his children Jack, Cooper and Coco for the event along with his siblings. The foundation was founded when the Keating family lost their mother Marie to breast cancer. This event was one of the first events they hosted, and it has become recognised as one of the most prestigious charity sporting events in Ireland.
