WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday proposed to fine Chinese-based video doorbell manufacturer Eken nearly $735,000 for providing false information and after security concerns were raised.

KUALA LUMPUR: Beginning next year, South-East Asian airline operators can have stopovers within Asean member states.

Under Protocol 5, Loke said airlines are allowed to stop over at Asean member state airports before heading to another point within the region. The signing of Protocol 5 is held in conjunction with the 30th Asean Transport Ministers and 58th Senior Transport Officials Meetings .Loke said the move will boost regional air connectivity.

Separately, he said Asean transport ministers agreed to adopt guidelines on light electric vehicles like electric scooters, bikes and small cars within the region.“It also aims to address environmental concerns by reducing carbon emissions and encouraging sustainable energy usage in transportation,” he said.
