The Health Ministry says the product contains poisonous substances.
The public has been urged to stop consuming the traditional health product Nan Bao as it contains poisonous substances, namely, sildenafil and tadalafil.
“The public is also urged to seek advice from health professionals in case of any discomfort or adverse effects,” it said. "The use of sildenafil and tadalafil without doctor’s advice can cause adverse effects such as impairment of vision and hearing, low blood pressure, and cardiovascular problems such as stroke and heart attack.
