Warisan president Shafie Apdal said amendments need to be made to anti-party hopping legislation to tie up loopholes.
The Semporna MP said such a trend should not be allowed to persist because it does not reflect the democratic process.“I am also confident that every parliamentary constituency will receive funding as part of the 12th Malaysia Plan ,” Utusan Malaysia quoted Shafie as saying. Shafie added that if MPs wanted to be bipartisan – as they are in Western countries – they can support government motions in the people’s interests.
