Muhyiddin Yassin has called for the release of political leaders like Aung San Suu Kyi and President U Win Myint in politically-troubled Myanmar.

Muhyiddin said the use of lethal violence against unarmed civilians, which has resulted in a high number of deaths and injuries, as well as sufferings across the nation was appalling.
