Ledang MP Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh said it was ‘very clear’ that Malaysia rejected ethnic cleansing and genocide.
Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh said any “petty” argument involving the UK-based organisation – which recently backed Israel in its war against Hamas – should be halted.“Enough already. If I want to nitpick on it, I can bring up Tasek Gelugor’s involvement with LI in their 2015 forum,” he said when debating the 2024 budget at the committee stage. He was referring to Perikatan Nasional’s Wan Saiful Wan Jan.
Social media users recently linked PKR to the group after LI listed the party as a member of the organisation on its official website.
