A Chelsea city spokesperson told the Washington Examiner that the money is loaded onto debit cards, which were issued to recipients in early March.The amount issued to recipients depends on how many people are in their household.
This payment marks the third and final payment of the program. The first payment was issued on March 15, and the second was issued on April 15.To be eligible, families had to have been residents of Chelsea with a household income of 30% less than the area median. Households of one must make less than $29,450, and households of two must make less than $33,650 to be part of the program. The threshold increased for each additional member of the household.
