Some Nottingham Forest fans say Morgan Gibbs-White should come out of the starting XI - a demand debated on recent Garibaldi Red podcasts
Morgan Gibbs-White is yet to hit the heights for Nottingham Forest this season after his excellent first campaign with the club. He has two assists in six games so far, both against Manchester United, although Taiwo Awoniyi ran almost the length of the pitch to score one of those goals.
"I don't think the manager will abandon the number 10 type player. I think this next run of games is where he starts firing again. In this team he's the gold brick in the house we're building. It's his team. You have to play him into form. He's had a stacked summer with the Euros and that will have an effect. He was on the precipice of a really good game against Man City.
"No one is safe but the bigger question for me is where you play him. At home the idea will be to get him on the ball as much as possible. In home games he can play in a 4-2-3-1 and then you can question how much impact he is having.
