LONDON: Arsenal berjaya mendapatkan khidmat pemain sayap Chelsea, Raheem Sterling secara pinjaman selama semusim, selepas pemain antarabangsa
England itu tiada dalam perancangan The Blues musim ini.
Sterling, 29, tidak beraksi dalam sebarang perlawanan musim ini bersama Chelsea, meskipun telah membuat 81 penampilan sejak menyertai kelab itu dari Manchester City pada 2022 dengan nilai perpindahan mencecah 50 juta euro . Pengurus Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, yang pernah bekerjasama dengan Sterling ketika menjadi penolong jurulatih di City, menyatakan beliau sangat mengagumi kebolehan pemain itu.
Sterling dijangka akan memberikan saingan sengit kepada Gabriel Martinelli dan Leandro Trossard di posisi sayap kiri, menambah pilihan taktikal buat Arteta.
