The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without two key players against the Houston Texans.
Updated September 29, 2023 4:00 PMPITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without offensive lineman James Daniels and punter Pressley Harvin when they face the Houston Texans in Week 4. The right guard is dealing with a groin injury, and the punter a hamstring, and have both been ruled out on the team's final report.
Daniels didn't practice this week because of his groin injury that he suffered Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Without him, the Steelers will turn to Nate Herbig as their starting right guard. Seventh-round rookie Spencer Anderson will be the team's primary backup, with experience at both guard positions and center if needed.
The Steelers will also be without Harvin, who suffered a hamstring injury against the Raiders. Harvin didn't practice as well, and is coming off a career-high game last week, averaging 52.4 yards per punt.who recently signed to the practice squad. Wing played for the Steelers in 2014 but hasn't kicked in an NFL game since 2014.
