SEREMBAN: Talks between Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan on seat allocations for the upcoming polls in the six states have almost concluded, with a final decision yet to be made on a handful of seats.
Barisan election director Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said a final decision has yet to be made on “one or two seats” in each state.
"However, on average, there are one or two seats in each state that have yet to be decided," he said when contacted.“I can’t say more or else there will be a lot of speculation. That will be unnecessary,” he said. On Thursday, Mohamad, who is also Umno deputy president, led the talks for Barisan while Pakatan was led by its deputy president Rafizi Ramli.
Asked if there was talk on the mentri besar or chief minister candidates, Mohamad said that was not on the agenda.
