An Ahsoka theory reveals Sabine’s true intentions.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary One Star Wars theory stemming out of Ahsoka episode 4 explains the true reason why Sabine cannot use the Force yet, as well as why she betrayed Ahsoka. At the culmination of Ahsoka episode 4, Baylan Skoll pushed Ahsoka into the raging oceans of Seatos before turning his attention to Sabine who held the map to Thrawn at blaster-point.
Another interesting element of Ahsoka episode 1 supports this theory that Sabine's Force training is driven by Ezra. At one point in the show's premiere, Sabine is shown sleeping while Ezra's final words from Star Wars Rebels are heard. This is accompanied by strange sounds, almost as if Sabine is connecting with Ezra through the Force in her dreams, just as Anakin Skywalker was shown to do with his mother Shmi and wife Padmé in the prequel trilogy.
In this book, one of the central characters is a young Padawan named Bell Zettifar whose Master, Loden Greatstorm, was captured and presumed dead at the end of the prior installment. Throughout the second book, Bell feels a great sense of loss through the Force yet cannot pinpoint why. He becomes troubled, failing to continue his promising training under a new Master due to a nagging empty void he can sense in the Force.
