Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 2 featured a shocking glimpse of a clone trooper down on his luck - and now Star Wars has revealed his full tragic story.!

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Star Wars has revealed the tragic backstory of Obi-Wan Kenobi's clone trooper veteran. Starring Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader respectively, the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ TV show is set during the Dark Times of the Empire's reign. Obi-Wan is forced to abandon his exile on Tatooine, heading to the planet Daiyu to rescue a kidnapped Princess Leia .

"Downtrodden in the streets of Daiyu is the clone trooper Nax. A veteran of many battlefields, including Teth, Christophsis, and Umbara, he was removed from the frontlines after extensive injuries. Rapidly declining from age acceleration and neglect, Nax asks passersby for credits." Obi-Wan Kenobi's Clone Trooper Wasn't Part Of Anakin Skywalker's Attack On The Temple The backstory is fascinating, revealing Nax wasn't part of Anakin Skywalker's attack on the Jedi Temple at all; rather, he seems to have been discharged long before that. Obi-Wan Kenobi couldn't possibly know this, however, and it's still remarkable he showed compassion by giving Nax credits. Nax, for his part, may well have recognized the Jedi General he once served alongside.

Nax's fate seems symbolic of the entire clone army. The clones were abandoned by the Emperor, decommissioned within a year of the Emperor's ascension. They may have obeyed Order 66, but there were too many who were individualistic for the Emperor's taste, and so he had the clones phased out at speed. Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 2 may have featured one clone trooper down on his luck, but his fate was ultimately shared by countless of his brothers.
