Cal Kestis’ lightsaber from StarWarsJediFallenOrder has now been made real, and will be available at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Cal Kestis’ lightsaber from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has now been made real at Disney’s parks, and fans can soon buy their very own official version. Disney originally announced the lightsaber last year, although it was slated for release in the fall of 2021, around the two-year anniversary of Jedi: Fallen Order's release.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was originally released back in November 2019 and is the latest game in the franchise from publisher EA, and the first from Titanfall and Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment. It then received a free next-gen upgrade for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in July of last year, which introduced several improvements including faster loading times, enhanced 60fps performance, support for 4K and HDR, as well as higher resolution textures.

In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal acquires his lightsaber, which previously belonged to his master Jaro Tapal, during the events of Order 66, and it serves as his main weapon for the entirety of the game. While the broken lightsaber canonically features a blue blade, the game allows players to customize not only the color of the blade but also the design of the hilt itself.

Purchasing the new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order legacy hilt is likely going to be pricey, especially if someone wanted to recreate the double-bladed design which requires having two of them. Furthermore, equipping one or both with blades also adds to the total cost, especially considering the possibility that Jedi: Fallen Order 2 may change Cal’s lightsaber.
