As Anakin Skywalker's former Padawan, this is hardly the first time Ahsoka has performed a risky stunt. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 2, episode 2, she even headed into space to fight droids. To do so, Ahsoka had to adopt an Enviro-suit that was similar to the one seen in Ahsoka episode 3 - but this new version is much improved in live-action Star Wars.
Ahsoka's Space Suit Is Improved In Live-Action The suit Ahsoka wore in Star Wars: The Clone Wars was a standard Republic Enviro-suit, identical to Anakin's - complete with a distinctive fishbowl design that just didn't work for Ahsoka's species. Granted, at the time Ahsoka was young and her head-tails - known as montrals and lekku - were still quite small.
Ahsoka's "Skywalking" Scene Is The Coolest Live-Action Jedi Stunt Yet Spacewalks, or “skywalks,” in Star Wars are a joy to watch. Not only are they always cinematic in nature due to the environment in which they take place, but they’re often used as a last resort, a means of ensuring victory against all odds, providing these scenes with depth and tension.
Though Ahsoka has been shown to fight during a spacewalk before, her “skywalking” feat in Ahsoka episode 3 is unquestionably one of the coolest things any Jedi in live-action has ever done. Not only does she deflect blasts coming from multiple enemies with her white lightsabers, which look mesmerizing against the black background of space, but she also manages to destroy one of the mercenary ships by flipping over it and slicing off one of its wings.
