Star Trek: Defiant #8 is written by Christopher Cantwell and drawn by Mike Feehan. The Defiant’s crew has returned to Starfleet Headquarters to face trial for stealing the ship. Chairing the crew’s hearing are Admirals Jellico and Nechayev. After going over the list of the crew’s crimes, they are informed they are not only being discharged, they are being disavowed as well. However, the admirals tell Worf and company they will still be working for Starfleet, only it will be off the books.
