NEW YORK (Reuters) - WNBA players say the surging popularity of the women's basketball league has opened the door for harassment, and the league's veterans are calling for officials to do more to address racist and sexist abuse.
Four female journalists are recognised for their work in the journalism field during the National Press Club ’s diamond jubilee celebration. The four recipients were Bernama chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, Datuk Nuraina Samad, Star Media Group ’s chief content officer Datin Paduka Esther Ng and Media Prima Television Networks chief executive officer Nini Yusof.

For that, I would like to thank SMG for giving me the opportunity to lead.Aside from Ng, other female journalists who received the award were Bernama chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, media consultant Datuk Nuraina Samad, and Media Prima Television Networks chief executive officer Nini Yusof.
NPC president Datuk Ahirudin Attan expressed admiration for the contributions of the award recipients."We are indeed humbled that you are all here. You are the giants that have chronicled our nation’s development.
