STAR intends to leave Perikatan
STAR president and Sabah deputy chief minister Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said his party will leave Perikatan and an official announcement on the matter would follow shortly. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 5, 2022.
The Sabah deputy chief minister said the move was made as STAR, which is currently supporting the unity goverment, is not aligned with PN. On November 26, Kitingan said STAR had taken the same stand as Gabungan Rakyat Sabah to support the unity government.
