Race organizers, Ironman Group, have announced road closures and transport adjustments for the 2024 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, which will affect areas like Nicoll Highway, National Stadium, and the Central Business District from November 29 to December 1.

Sections of the city, including Nicoll Highway and the Central Business District will be closed to the public during the 2024 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon .

Some buildings along areas such as Temasek Avenue, Beach Road and Nicoll Highway MRT will also be considered no access zones, which will have no vehicular access, pick-ups and drop-offs. They will skip bus stops on Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road and Nicoll Highway as well as those in the Civic District, Central Business District and Marina Central.

The half-marathon and marathon categories will be held on Dec 1, alongside the Ekiden relay race that is returning to the SCSM for the first time since 2021.
