Stakeholders discuss Africa’s relevance on global stage at NIIA-Czech embassy dialogue

Stakeholders have emphasised the need for the African continent to maintain a leading role and status of relevance in the international arena.

The event was organised by the embassy of the Czech Republic in Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs . Eghosa said Africa points to the future of the global system, adding that there is no way the world can move forward without the continent. On her part, Adesuwa Eradiawu, a researcher and one of the panellists, said despite the challenges facing Africa, the scramble for the continent is intensifying.Eradiawu said there must be a reason for the continuous scramble for Africa, adding that the continent has a “potential role” on the global stage.
