When Carrie Underwood arrived on stage at theto the opening notes of Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle,” did her fans expect that Axl Rose would be joining her 16 songs later?
They should have. Rose arrived on stage to a thunderous roar from the crowd during “Sweet Child O’ Mine” after Underwood performed the first verse in a Guns N’ Roses T-shirt.He took the second verse from there. The duo also performed “Paradise City.” Both of the hits are off the band’s 1987 debut album, “Appetite for Destruction.”
