St. Mary’s University has created a scholarship fund in honor of Alexandria “Lexi” A. Rubio, a student killed in the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School.
Lexi Rubio’s parents testified Wednesday before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform on the gun violence crisis.
According to St. Mary’s, the fund will be awarded to future law students who embody the spirit of Lexi Rubio’s intellectual curiosity, resilience and commitment to family values. Once fully funded, gifts to this endowed fund will support select St. Mary’s students pursuing a legal education based on their financial need.
