Springsteen was back in Freehold Tuesday morning for the unveiling of plans for a new exhibition space, in partnership with the, the exhibition will include artifacts, photographs and multimedia displays from the Jersey rock icon’s storied career and life. It is anticipated to open in 2024. “The collection serves the research and informational needs of music fans, scholars, authors and others with a serious interest in the life and career of Bruce Springsteen,” theSpringsteen, 72, was in good spirits standing at a podium inside the firehouse Tuesday and gave an impromptu speech about Freehold, where he lived in three different homes with his family before moving out in 1969.
