recently broke ground on a new 14-acre park that will feature a wide range of sporting activities, open space and large play areas.
The park, set to open in summer 2024, will have walkways, jogging trails, a splash area, dog park, picnic area, pavilions and space for food trucks. The modern park will welcome all ages and include a large two-story playground, fitness area, ping pong table, games and more. The Bridgestone neighborhood is surrounded by over 15 different subdivisions. Bradley believes the park may provide a regional benefit for Spring, Klein, Tomball and other communities in the area, which is continuing to grow. Spring, for example, currently has over 60,000 residents and has grown by 1.72% since 2020,“The location is great because there's really not much in the way of parks in that part of Harris County,” she said.
“It's a pretty large, covered area. …People can go back and enjoy the playgrounds and that and the green space as well,” she said. “It will be really beautiful in the evenings I think because there's going to be a boardwalk that's going to extend out into lake and so there will be some pretty places to stand and take pictures before a wedding, prom or that sort of thing.
