Spreading the culture of kindness at the workplace

SHAH ALAM: Kindness begins at home and SP Setia Bhd is doing just that to reinforce the culture of kindness at its workplace.

As part of a mission to create a kinder Malaysia through the #StandTogether campaign, SP Setia organised a #StandTogether Tea Talk for its employees, Team Setia.

Held at the property developer’s headquarters in Setia Alam, the session kicked off with a video featuring enthusiastic employees participating in the Kindness Challenge, an interactive WhatsApp chat bot. Among those who attended the talk was group risk management office administrative assistant Suriati Yusnita Mohamad Yusof, 41, who said it reminded her to be kind to herself.“With such kindness flowing across the office, we naturally practise it through simple gestures such as smiling and greeting each other,” she said.

The #StandTogether campaign was founded by R.AGE and SP Setia in 2017 after a spate of deadly bullying cases. “The #StandTogether campaign is given great importance in SP Setia as it is in line with our values and brand new mantra: ‘Stay Together. Stay Setia’.
