Spike in dengue, but no rise in smoke-related illnesses, says Dzulkefly
Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad says 137 deaths have been reported up to September 7 this year, compared to only 81 during the same period last year. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, September 15, 2019.The health minister said the ministry was monitoring diseases which could be caused by exposure to smoke, such as asthma, eye and respiratory infections.
