Mildly autistic excellent SPM achiever Muhammad Nabil Izzat Mohammad Talip, 18, has shown that success and excellence is no stranger to even a person with special educational needs.
The SMK Tansau student, who has a speech impediment which makes it difficult for him to communicate with others, was awarded a certificate of excellence as a candidate with special needs for scoring 3A, 2A- and 1B+ in his SPM examinations. According to his mother, Siti Napsiah Kiflin, 52, Nabil experienced late speech development and only started speaking after the age of five.
