: During the pandemic much has been written about the increased popularity of CSAs .On this week's Special Sauce we had a far-reaching conversation with Maggie Cheney, one of the owners of Rock Steady Farm, which is part of a special kind of CSA. Rock Steady describes itself as a women and queer owned cooperative farm, rooted in social justice, growing sustainable vegetables, flowers and herbs for our upstate and NYC communities.

: Seeing that happen to so many different youth in different cities and different parts of the country where the food that they were eating was impacting them so greatly in their academics and their access at home and just seeing that first-hand, especially in the Special Ed community, I just knew that probably the most impact I could do is by growing food and trying to get creative around food access and connecting a really broad group of people to fresh food and organically-grown food as best...
