Maybank has announced that it will be introducing Secure2u activation via its ATMs (automated teller machines) beginning Oct 31, with users required to make an in-person visit for first-time and new device activations.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Dewan Rakyat Speaker has rejected a Perikatan Nasional MP's motion to refer Lim Guan Eng to the Parliamentary Rights and Privileges Committee.
In a letter sighted by The Star, Tan Sri Johari Abdul rejected the motion by Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal . “I had Bagan explain the matter raised and found that Bagan’s statement did not impute improper motives nor mislead the house.On Oct 11, during his Budget 2024 speech, Lim referred to Wan Ahmad Fayhsal’s appearance on a radio programme on Nov 16, 2020.
During the programme, Wan Ahmad Faysal, the deputy youth and sports minister at the time, said that the government should look past debts and print money.He defended his claim, stating that modern monetary theory experts believed this would be fine as long as the country produced enough goods and services to be spent on.
