BANGKOK: A Thai YouTuber was arrested after spending two years on the run in Indonesia, following an attempt to pass herself off as a local that backfired when she failed to sing the national anthem in front of the authorities.

Rescue workers combed the wreckage of vehicles that were caked in mud next to roads or in flooded fields, with some using heavy machinery to clear debris from the streets, television footage showed. The floods in Valencia battered the region's infrastructure, sweeping away bridges, roads, railtracks and buildings as rivers burst their banks.
