Spain defender Daniel Vivian has hit out at the "disgraceful" treatment of teammate Marc Cucurella during their Euro 2024 semi-final win.
Referee Anthony Taylor decided not to award a spot kick and Spain went on to knock Germany out of the Euros, with the incident prompting the boos aimed at Cucurella during the France game. "I am against disrespect and those who booed do not represent German society." Cucurella, though, appeared unfazed by the reception he received as he told told Spanish radio station Cadena Cope : "These are things that happen, I'm not to blame for anything.
