All Southwest Airlines departures were temporarily halted Tuesday morning due to 'equipment issues,' the Federal Aviation Administration said.
“Southwest has resumed operations after temporarily pausing flight activity this morning to work through data connection issues resulting from a firewall failure,” Southwest said in a statement
sent to SFGATE shortly after 8 a.m. “Early this morning, a vendor-supplied firewall went down and connection to some operational data was unexpectedly lost.”Please contact Southwest Airlines for more.
