The South-South Initiative for Better Nigeria has reacted to the recent appointments made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL.

In a statement signed by the National Coordinator of SSIBN, Jack Akpvwoghene and Programs Manager, Ebitare Wellington, the group said the the appointments demonstrate Tinubu 's resolve to strengthen the company's operational efficiency and boost its competitive edge in the global oil and gas industry.
