THE South Korean government said today it will start receiving compensation requests from people who have been placed in quarantine to prevent further transmission of the Covid-19 virus starting Monday, the Yonhap news agency reported. The Health and Welfare Ministry said individuals can make the request to administrative offices near their homes, while businesses that have given workers paid leave can apply to the National Pension Service.
