Sources inform The Republic that Devin Booker is expected to make the trip to Miami as the Suns face the Heat on Wednesday.
ORLANDO — The Suns may have their All-Star shooting guard back for Wednesday's game against the Heat.The Suns and Heat have the league's best records in their respective conferences.
There is no official word from the Suns that Booker has cleared the league's health and safety protocols. Booker has missed Phoenix's last three games in protocols and wasn't with the team in Orlando for Tuesday night's matchup against the Magic. The Suns are already without Chris Paul and Cam Johnson . Paul hasn't played since the All-Star break as he's likely expected to miss the rest of the regular season while Johnson missed Sunday's loss in Milwaukee.
Johnson suffered the quad injury against the Knicks in his 38-point night that ended with a 31-footer at the buzzer to give the Suns a 115-114 victory.
