Close While the preview is unlettered, it’s still easy to discern that the Decepticons are not happy with Starscream, which causes the Seeker to lash out, taking his frustrations out on Rumble. This is the final straw for Soundwave, who steps to his buddy’s defense and takes Starscream head-on. Soundwave isn't playing around with his challenge, as he starts off by apparently blowing off Thudercracker's head. The stoic Decepticon then turns his rage to Starscream, dominating his former leader with a series of brutal attacks. Soundwave’s resentment has been slowly building in the pages of Transformers, as he was the first to question Starscream replacing Megatron as their leader early on in the new series.
