Leaked renders of the Sony Xperia 1 VI suggests that the series is dropping its 21:9 aspect ratio, an element that has defined the series.
There have been a couple of sprinkles where leaks of the Sony Xperia 1 VI is concerned, involving its rear camera setup as well as its RAM configuration. A new one has surfaced in the form of renders, showing off the way the phone looks. But if these are accurate, it would mean that the series would be losing one of its most identifiable features.
These renders of the Sony Xperia 1 VI come courtesy of @OnLeaks, which were also shared to Android Headlines. On one hand, these show that the phone will, for the most part, look very similar to the phones of the series that came before. Items in this list include the ZEISS branding, the 3.5mm audio jack, and the dedicated shutter button.But with the dimensions of 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.4 mm, this suggests that it will be a little thicker, but more importantly also a little shorter and wider.
