Sony ProjectQ Shown In Leak To Run Android
In another tweet, the leakster has an image of Project Q without its screen, showing the housing that holds the electronics within. It’s pretty difficult to make out anything here besides what looks like a battery. Minus all the DualSense magic that’s hidden in the controller portion of the device, it still looks pretty bare behind the screen.
Not entirely surprising, considering it was only supposed to stream PS5 games rather than running them independently on a lower setting.Project Q is the fact that it may be running Android, and even this is for those who venture into the homebrew and sideloading territory. Outside of modders, there will probably be a small market for those who didn’t like Remote Play and are banking on this being a better PS5 streaming experience. But it likely won’t be a big slice of the market pie.
